One Simple Sign-In. Reports on Autopilot. Two New TSBA Features Cut the Busywork

Two new features are now live in Tinubu's Surety Broker and Agent platform (TSBA), and both give agencies more time for the work that grows the business. Single sign-on (SSO) connects TSBA directly to an agency's identity system, giving security teams centralized control over who gets in and what they can access, and streamlining login for users. Scheduled reporting delivers any TSBA report, standard or custom, straight to clients and colleagues on a set schedule.

Together, they take routine administration off your team's plate. Access is managed in one place, from a new hire's first day to their last. Recurring reports arrive on time without anyone running them. The result is tighter control, faster service, and more of the day spent writing business.

Single Sign-On: One Login, Full Control

For users, SSO means one click into TSBA with the same corporate credentials they use for everything else. There's no separate password to remember or reset. That's the visible benefit. The bigger one is on the back end.

"SSO brings TSBA inside the security framework an agency already runs," says Rob Hoon, Platform Operations Specialist at Tinubu, who leads product for TSBA. "Every policy and every control the agency has in place applies to TSBA automatically."

With SSO, access to TSBA is tied to the identity system your organization already runs, such as Active Directory. Your security team manages TSBA access the same way it manages everything else. The same policies apply, the same monitoring applies, and there is one place to turn access on or off. Individual team members can be given access to the appropriate systems—and only those systems—with minimal set-up required.

The operational payoff also shows up when people join or leave. "When someone leaves, their access ends at the organization level," says Hoon. "There's no separate offboarding step for TSBA and nothing left open." Onboarding gets faster for the same reason. New team members get TSBA access through the process that already sets up the rest of their tools.

Built for How Agencies Really Grow

One large agency live on TSBA has already been using SSO, and their experience shows why it matters.

Through mergers and acquisitions, they run three separate agency entities on their platform. With SSO, team members use their single corporate login to reach the right entity. The internal team controls who gets in and to what, and no one needs three logins and passwords to do their job.

Hoon says the request for SSO usually starts with an agency’s compliance or security team, not its users. Once it’s in place, both groups benefit. Security gets the control it needs, and users get a simpler login.

SSO is live in production today, supporting enterprise agencies.

Scheduled Reporting: Receiving Information Instead of Uncovering It

Scheduled reporting changes how information moves out of TSBA. Every report, standard or custom, now runs automatically on a set schedule and arrives in up to 10 inboxes as an Excel file. It takes one of the most repetitive jobs in agency operations and makes it hands-off.

“Say I send a client an in-force bond report every month," Hoon explains. "Now I set it up once. The client gets it on schedule with everything they need, and no one on my team has to touch it."

You set the delivery time and the date range once. If the built-in reports don’t cover everything that’s needed, you can build a custom report and schedule that instead. The report then arrives on its own, whether that’s a monthly in-force summary for a major account or a weekly activity report for leadership.

Why It Matters

Recurring reporting is valuable work, and it adds up. A single report takes only a few minutes, but multiplied across clients, weeks, and team members, those minutes become hours. Scheduled reporting gives that time back. The benefit grows with the size of the book. For an agency sending regular reports to dozens of accounts, the hours saved each month are significant.

Scheduled reporting also strengthens client service. Accounts receive accurate, consistent data on a predictable cadence, which reinforces the agency as a reliable partner. For agencies that want to pull bond data directly into their own systems, the TSBA Bond Data API offers another route to automated access.

Less Administration, More Business

SSO and scheduled reporting reflect the goal behind every item on the TSBA roadmap: brokers write more business, and the back office doesn't have to grow to support it. Both features reduce the administrative work around the job, so your team can focus on servicing existing clients and generating new business.
